This page covers the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for SarthAi (package com.codeyantra.sarthai), an AI life-companion app published by CodeYantra Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By using SarthAi, you agree to both documents below.

Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the SarthAi mobile app. It explains what information we collect when you use the app, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information you provide

• Account details — name, email address, and optionally phone number and profile photo, collected when you sign in (Google Sign-In or email/password).
• Conversations — the messages you send to SarthAi and the replies you receive.
• Attachments you choose to share — photos you attach or ask SarthAi to edit, and PDF documents you attach for analysis (PDF analysis is available on the Pro plan).
• Persona and language preference — which SarthAi persona (e.g. Dost, Guru, Business Partner) and language (English / Hindi / Hinglish) you've selected.

3. Information collected automatically

• Usage data — how many messages and images you send each day, used solely to apply your plan's daily limits.
• Device and diagnostic data — basic technical data (app version, crash logs) collected via Firebase to keep the app stable.

4. How your data reaches an answer

To generate a reply, edit an image, or read a document you've attached, SarthAi sends the relevant text, image, or document to one or more AI processing services on your behalf, depending on your plan and the type of request: Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Cloudflare Workers AI, and Agnes AI (image editing).

These providers process your request to generate a response and do not receive your name, email, or phone number — only the message, image, or document needed to answer that specific request. Your account and chat history remain stored on SarthAi's own infrastructure (Google Firebase), described next.

5. Where your data is stored

Your account, chat history, and preferences are stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions), hosted in Google Cloud's asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS); access to the underlying database is restricted to authenticated requests tied to your own account.

6. How long we keep it

You can clear your conversation any time from within the app. If you delete your account, your profile and stored chat history are permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Payments

Plus and Pro subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing. SarthAi never receives or stores your card or payment details — Google handles that transaction directly and shares with us only what's needed to activate your plan.

8. Your choices

• Clear your chat history any time from the app's history screen.
• Change your name, language, or persona from Settings.
• Request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account and all associated data, by emailing support@codeyantra.in. We respond within 30 days.

9. Children

SarthAi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the effective date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use SarthAi after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and CodeYantra Technologies for using SarthAi.

11. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SarthAi, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

12. What SarthAi is

SarthAi is an AI-powered companion that helps you think through decisions, chat in a persona of your choosing, and generate or edit images. It is not a substitute for professional advice — replies related to health, law, finance, or investing are for general guidance only. For decisions with real stakes, consult a qualified professional.

13. Plans and daily limits

Limits reset daily and apply per account, regardless of how many devices you use.

14. Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from the Play Store's Subscriptions page — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current billing period. Refunds are handled per Google Play's own refund policy.

15. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use SarthAi for anything illegal, or to generate content that harasses, defrauds, or endangers others.
• Attempt to bypass daily usage limits, reverse-engineer the app, or access another user's account or data.
• Use the CyberShield persona's guidance against systems you don't own or aren't authorized to test.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

16. Content you generate

You may use text and images SarthAi generates for you personally, including commercially, subject to the underlying AI providers' own usage policies. SarthAi and its branding, design, and code remain the property of CodeYantra Technologies.

17. No warranty

SarthAi is provided "as is." AI-generated replies can be incomplete or incorrect — use your own judgment, especially for anything with financial, legal, medical, or safety consequences. To the extent permitted by law, CodeYantra Technologies isn't liable for decisions made based on SarthAi's output.

18. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the app evolves; we'll update the effective date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ludhiana, Punjab.
