This Privacy Policy explains how CodeYantra Technologies ("Service Provider", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information.
1.1 Information We Collect
- Location Data: Collected only when using "Shake & Connect". Not stored historically.
- Camera & Gallery: Accessed only for profile pictures or sending images in chat.
- Sensor Data: Accelerometer data processed locally for the "Shake" gesture.
- User Content: Messages and media processed securely through Google Firebase.
- Identifiers: IP, Device ID, and Ad IDs for security and monetization.
1.2 How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to provide core messaging, maintain safety (banning abusive users), and display advertisements via Google AdMob.
1.3 Data Retention & Deletion
Messages and media are automatically deleted after 90 days.
2. Advertising
MaskChat is supported by Google AdMob. You can manage personalized ad preferences in your device settings. For EU/UK users, we comply with the IAB TCF framework.
3. Child Safety & Zero Tolerance
We use automated moderation to block nudity. Any CSAM detected will be reported to NCMEC and law enforcement immediately.
4. Acceptable Use
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, illegal activities, and impersonation are strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.
GDPR Compliance (EU/UK)
Residents of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland have specific rights:
- Legal Basis: Processing is based on Consent, Contractual Necessity, and Legitimate Interest.
- Your Rights: Right to Access, Rectification, Erasure (Right to be Forgotten), and Portability.
- Data Transfers: Protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) via Google Firebase.
